New England Patriots star Antonio Brown is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. In fact, he's one of the best players in the NFL, period. That being said, he's also one of the most controversial.

With that in mind, Browns relationship with the helmet manufacturer, Xenith, has ended. The company decided to part ways with the receiver on Friday, according to Adam Schefter.

This move comes after a ton of different issues have surrounded Brown. It all started when he wanted a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

That was granted, and Brown found himself on the Oakland Raiders (after everyone though he was going to the Buffalo Bills).

Next, Brown had issues with frostbite on his feet, and the whole helmet fiasco that led to this partnership in the beginning.

Then Brown and the Raiders got into it heavily, and soon he found himself released from his contract. Very quickly after that, the Patriots signed him to a one-year deal.

After that, came the sexual assault allegations.

Now, it appears Brown might be playing in Week 2. But the controversy floating around him that could make things very complicated very quickly.

Nevertheless, it's no surprise Xenith decided to cut ties. At his best, Brown is a great and charismatic personality to have representing your company. However, he can bring a lot of unwanted attention to something just as quickly.

Xenith has decided to cut their losses in this situation and end their relationship with Antonio Brown. Don't be surprised if someone else takes a chance on the wide receiver again though, sooner rather than later.
