Current New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has a new documentary coming out about him while the multiple-time Super Bowl Champion is certainly excited about the world eventually seeing such a film. However, Edelman is genuinely excited about one specific aspect of his documentary — the footage that captured the time spent between him and his daughter.
“There's some unbelievable shots of me and my daughter,” the Patriots wide receiver recently told TMZ Sports. “That was dope.”
Of course, Edelman and the heralded Patriots are coming off of yet another Super Bowl title while New England has notably won two of the last three and three of the last five Super Bowls. Even so, the Patriots will also be entering a new era come 2019 and future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski officially retired from the NFL this offseason.
Although going out on a high note, “Gronk” and his absence will surely leave a significant void in the New England offense. As a result, presumably, even more, will be asked of Edelman going forward as quarterback Tom Brady isn't getting any younger — though you would never know it by the way he plays the game.
The 33-year-old wideout has spent his entire playing career in New England as a member of the Patriots while all indications point toward Edelman finishing his career in Massachusetts as well. He was originally selected by the heralded AFC East franchise in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Kent State.
