If there is a contest for the best Christmas gifts among NFL players, New England Patriots rookie Mac Jones would have probably won it. After all, his latest gift to his teammates is not only trendy, but can also be beneficial long-term.
According to Joe Pompliano of Huddle Up, Jones has gifted his entire offensive line Bitcoin for Christmas this year. Apparently, the Patriots rookie has been studying about it for some time now and thought it would be the best gift for his teammates.
“I’ve been studying Bitcoin for a while now…I just knew I had to give some Bitcoin to my teammates,” Jones said.

As Pompliano noted, it's similar to Russell Wilson's gift to his offensive line in 2019, during which the Seattle Seahawks QB gave his offensive linemen $12,000 in Amazon stock each. It came after he signed his $140 million contract extension at the time.
Jones is still a rookie, so it's definitely a grand gesture for him to gift his O-line with Bitcoin. And when he signs his next big contract, he has certainly set the standard pretty high.
