The New England Patriots signed free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown just before their Week 1 game. However, Brown wasn't able to play in that first game, but it appears the plan is to play him now.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, the Patriots plan on playing Brown in Week 2.
Usually, this would be a pretty simple situation. Is the new player healthy enough to play? Does he understand the playbook?
Those should be the only two questions.
However, there's a lot of controversy surrounding the superstar. Brown of course had an extremely messy breakup with the Oakland Raiders.
Now the most recent allegations that came against him are making the who situation even more unclear.
For now though, the Patriots have him lined up to play.

Of course, all of those players are weapons for arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time – Tom Brady.
That's a lot of firepower for one offense and could create some absolutely electric plays in 2019.
It's clear the Patriots want Brown on the field as soon as possible. The real question is, does the NFL? If Brown isn't on the field it's likely because the NFL intervened, and not because of a decision by New England.
With that in mind, the Patriots expect to see Brown on the field in their uniform for Week 2.
