The New England Patriots have officially wrapped up their entire draft class, signing running back Damien Harris Tuesday, per Field Yates of ESPN. As Yates points out, it'll be a four-year deal worth $3.631 million with an $886K signing bonus.

An Alabama product, Harris was the team's third round pick. Language in the CBA surrounding third round picks is very vague, which is why it often takes them a very long time to sign. With the move, the Pats became the ninth team in the league to have their entire draft class inked to their rookie deals.

The 87th overall pick in the draft, Harris will join a crowded running backs room in New England. The Patriots drafted Sony Michel in the first round last year, and they also have James White and Rex Burkhead on the roster.

A second-team All-SEC selection this past year, Harris spent all four possible seasons at Alabama, winning two national championships. This past season he split carries with Josh Jacobs, whom the Raiders drafted in the first round.

In his senior campaign, Harris carried the ball 150 times for 876 yards and nine touchdowns. That was solid, but it was actually a slight dip in his production. Each of the two previous years, he had at least 1,000 yards.

Harris did show more as a receiver this past year than in any season in his college career, which should be good for his transition to the pro game. He's a bruising runner who isn't exactly known for his speed, so improving his pass-catching game will be crucial for his chances of seeing the field.
