New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has always been known for his Gronk Spike and a lot of those have become of his red zone production.

So far this year that has been lacking and Gronkowski has exactly zero red zone catches. It is concerning that Gronkowski that doesn't have a touchdown catch inside the red zone this year and the fact he doesn't have any catches in general in that area of the field is very concerning. Gronkowski said changing that starts with getting open.

“It is what it is,” Gronkowski said during a press conference at Gillette Stadium via NESN. “First off, I’ve got to get open. I’ve got to get out there and run better routes, and then I’ll start seeing more targets — whatever the play is called.”

Gronkowski isn't getting selfish with not getting the touches because he is all about the team first and as long as the team is scoring that is all that matters to him.

“I mean, we’re scoring down there,” Gronkowski said. “Whatever I have to do to help out the team, even if the ball’s not going my way, I’ve just got to do.

” … We’ve got so many other great players, you’ve got to focus on them, too. We’ve got (James) White, (Josh) Gordon, Julian (Edelman), (Chris) Hogan, Sony (Michel). We’ve just got so many good players out there that you’ve got to watch out for them, too. I don’t mind that.”

The Patriots play the Chicago Bears this weekend so it's not going to get any easier, but if Gronk can get some good releases off the line there is no question Brady will be looking for him in the end zone.
