New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski's brother, Chris, said in an interview with WEEI that he can tell his brother is frustrated, but the star tight end tried to downplay those comments. Chris said in the interview that he hasn't specifically talked to his brother, but he can tell by his facial features that he isn't happy.

“I can just tell by his emotions, his facial features, that he’s super frustrated with it. You can see at the end of the game, how they ended the game double-covering him, pressing him off the line,” Chris said. “He just wants to get the ball in his hands and make plays. But you just can’t do it when no one else is getting open.”

The Patriots tight end said his brother wasn't speaking for him and probably just got caught up in nonsense and talk that is surrounding the team.

There has been a lot of talk this week about the Patriots' offense struggling to get going this year. Gronkowski is constantly getting double-teamed and nobody around him is stepping up, which is why Gronk is getting so frustrated, according to his brother.

“Usually a tight end is being covered by a linebacker, who really can’t cover anyone,” Chris Gronkowski said. “When you’re giving up two of your best defenders — two safeties or a corner and a safety — to cover a tight end, your guys on the outside should be able to win.”

Gronkowski 13 catches for 189 yards and one touchdown in three games. New England is 1-2 with a matchup against the 3-0 Miami Dolphins on deck.
