The New England Patriots are in the middle of their preparation for a heavyweight primetime matchup this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, but the defending and reigning AFC champions are also dealing with injuries to some of their key players, namely tight end Rob Gronkowski, wide receiver Julian Edelman, and running back Sony Michel.
There are a total of 13 players that the Patriots have labeled as questionable for the Packers game, including the three aforementioned starters, as noted by Mike Reiss of ESPN.

If anything, Gronkowski, Edelman, and Michel all attended practice Friday, a good sign for the trio’s availability this weekend.
Gronkowski has been bugged by back and ankle issues for most of the season, though, those weren’t able to stop him from appearing in New England’s demolition of the Buffalo Bills last week in which he had 43 receiving yards and three receptions and four targets. Edelman is listed with an ankle issue but also incurred an unspecified illness this week. Nevertheless, he’s expected to take the field in Foxboro against the Packers. Edelman was fantastic in the Bills game, racking up 104 receiving yards on nine catches and 10 targets.
As for Michel, the rookie running back did not play against Buffalo due to a knee injury he suffered in Week 7’s meeting with the Chicago Bears, but is trending positively towards a return to action this coming Sunday.
The Patriots are fourth in the NFL with 29.9 points per game.
