The NFL has been criticized over the years for taking things a bit too serious when it comes to touchdown celebrations. Now, the league has loosened up a bit with their celebration rules and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski sees it as a good thing.
Gronkowski recently made an appearance on PFT Live and was asked if he's got anything planned in terms of a new touchdown celebration and what he thinks about the NFL taking this surprising turn, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

Already through the preseason you see many, many celebrations that are cool to see, with many teams and many players. So I’m excited for it, excited to see what people got, and excited for the fans to see what they want to see, some extra celebrations in the end zone.”
Unlike other players around the league that end up in the end zone regularly with prepared touchdown celebrations, Gronkowski usually goes with his patented spike when Tom Brady connects with him for six points.
Antonio Browns of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott may have other ideas with both players making headlines for their touchdown celebrations last year. One or both of these players will likely have something up their sleeve when they cross the goal line.
