The New England Patriots will have the services of one of their key components for Super Bowl 52 with All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski finally medically cleared from the concussion protocol.

During his interview with the media on Thursday afternoon, Gronkowski voiced his unwavering desire to celebrate a win on Sunday night in a fashion that could only be labeled as “Gronk-like.”

Gronkowski should figure to be a major part in helping the Patriots achieve that lofty goal as one of the primary targets in the passing game. When healthy, he has proven to be Tom Brady's most reliable target as the two have connected for 75 career touchdowns, ranking second all-time between a quarterback and tight end in NFL history.

He has been a huge factor in the playoffs hauling in seven of 12 targets for 102 receiving yards and a touchdown in two games played. His presence on the field could have a big impact on how the Patriots are able to move the ball as he has shown to also be an asset as a blocker.

What should help Gronkowski is that he has plenty of experience playing in the playoffs throughout his illustrious career while having much success in that format. He currently ranks first at his position with 856 receiving yards in the postseason and is tied for third all-time with three career 100-yard receiving performances. In the two Super Bowls that he has previously played, Gronkowski has recorded a combined eight catches for 94 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The 28-year-old could in store for a huge performance as Brady has stated that he wants his star tight end to have “his best game of the year” in Super Bowl 52 against the Philadelphia Eagles. All of this could shape up for what may be another huge performance from Gronkowski on the game's biggest stage on Sunday night.
