One of the odder controversies of the offseason has been former players coming forward and saying that the New England Patriots with Bill Belichick isn't a fun organization to play for.
One of the all-time Patriots greats, Tedy Bruschi, took to Twitter to defend the organization he loves, saying people that don't like the Patriots experience can't handle tough coaching. He also added that these people also expect that things just be given to them.
Players that don’t like their Patriot experience are the ones that can’t take tough coaching, get eaten up by the pressure, blame others for failures and expect things are supposed to be given to them.

It's interesting that Bruschi thought that this should be the time that he defends his Patriots after they have seemed to be getting bashed by former players all offseason. Eagles tackle Lane Johnson thought the winning was nice, but everything else was terrible.

The only thing you’re going to remember from your playing days, you’re not going to remember the scores. You’re going to remember the people you played with and how you felt. And that’s the truth.
“All these guys talking about ‘I’ll take the rings.’ OK. You can have your rings. You can also have f***ing 15 miserable years.”
It seems that players have to pick if they want an enjoyable work environment or to win football games, and Martellus Bennet might have put it best.

“After losing for 10 years, I found winning extremely fun. What it took to become a winner wasn’t fun but the results were and the guys I won with were plenty fun,” he continued.
Leave it to the great Bill Belichick to craft such a culture that's become so subjective and interesting.
