The New England Patriots were unceremoniously bounced from the 2019-20 NFL postseason over the weekend in an upset loss at home against the Tennessee Titans, led by former Patriots linebacker-turned-head-coach Mike Vrabel. Veteran and star quarterback Tom Brady, 42, did not look like his normal self.

The future Hall of Fame gunslinger was neutralized en route to New England's defeat, including throwing a game-sealing pick-six to ex-teammate cornerback Logan Ryan of the Titans.

On Monday it was revealed that Brady had been nursing a foot injury since last month along with having tennis elbow bothering him, too, per the NFL Network's Michael Giardi.

The Patriots were on their way to a first-round bye in the AFC playoffs with the No. 2 seed until they shockingly loss at home in Week 17 to AFC East division rival Miami Dolphins, coached by former linebackers coach Brian Flores.

With New England dropping into the Wild Card round to face the Titans, Bill Belichick and company couldn't stop opposing running back Derrick Henry of Tennessee, the league's leading rusher in 2019, who recorded 182 rushing yards on 34 carries and scored one touchdown.

Brady's future has been uncertain as well, with speculation building throughout the regular season as to whether the six-time Super Bowl champion would finally retire or either re-sign with the Patriots or even possibly sign with another franchise.

Brady is finally an unrestricted free agent in 2020, and both he and his head coach appeared mysterious and unsure about what's next with the shock of getting upset still palpable a day later when the team cleaned out their lockers.
