New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has ruffled the feathers of a couple of players on the team, but Demario Davis doesn't think there will be any chemistry issues. According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, Davis said he knows the team will be fine because they are led by head coach Sean Payton who always done a good job of making sure that everyone is on the same page. Davis does admit though that this is more than football.

On the football field, it very well may work out fine, but there are going to be some tough discussions that are going to need to happen. Drew Brees said on Wednesday that he still wouldn't respect anyone who kneeled for the flag, something that received a lot of pushback. Saints teammate Malcolm Jenkins went off on Brees, saying “sometimes he should shut the f–k up.” He later deleted that part of the video because he didn't want that to be the sound bite.

“I recorded a few videos when thinking of how to respond to Drew Brees, I don't take any of it back-I meant what I said-I removed the 1st video because I knew it be more about the headlines,” he wrote on Instagram. “I want people to understand how those of us struggling with what's going on feel.”

Even though he has backtracked a bit, there is no doubt that Jenkins has raw feelings, something that is going to need to be worked through. Right now that isn't the most important thing though, it's important that there is a chance made in the world involving people of color.
