New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has apparently impressed the rest of his locker room with his rap skills. Per The Lefkoe Show, defensive end Cam Jordan said the 41-year-old gunslinger is “straight heat” when it comes to his acapella freestyle rapping.

Drew Brees has been known to be a mood-lifter and a true leader in the locker room. At times that means keeping things loose and delving into something outside of the comfort zone.

It appears he felt comfortable enough to show off his rap skills to the rest of the locker room — and it did enough to earn Jordan's nod.

The 19-year pro threw for less than 3,000 yards for only the third time in his career and the first since his 2003.

Brees' 2,979 total passing yards through 11 games last season weren't the glowing stat of his season, but nearly tying his career-best completion percentage of 74.4% was one. He was only one decimal point from tying his 2018 career-best.

His 116.3 quarterback rating was a career-best after throwing for 27 touchdowns and only four interceptions in 2019.

The Saints gunslinger will look to show off that he has a little bit more than just rap skills in his 20th season, one that is currently in limbo due to the effects of the novel coronavirus.
