New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara got his team off to the perfect start in a Christmas Day clash with the Minnesota Vikings. On 1st and 10, the Saints star took a hand-off from Drew Brees, found a hole within the Minnesota defense, and sprinted 40-yards to the house, looking back at the Vikings defense as he marched into the endzone:

That TD gave the Saints an early lead, but just minutes later, Minnesota running back Dalvin Cook also rushed for a touchdown, tying the game at seven. Kamara responded against on New Orleans' next drive, rushing for a one-yard TD to give his team a 14-7 lead.

New Orleans is currently 10-4 and well on their way to the playoffs. But with a win on Christmas, they can clinch the NFC South. As for the Vikings, their road to the postseason is much tougher. Currently 6-8, Kirk Cousins and co. need to win both of their remaining contests while the Cardinals would need to lose their last two games and the Bears would also need to lose once.

A lot needs to go right for the Vikings, but for the Saints, they're in a good position. Kamara is 9th among running backs currently with 846 rushing yards this season, while also collecting a total of 17 touchdowns.

With Drew Brees now back from injury, Sean Payton will feel a lot better about his team heading into the playoffs. However, Taysom Hill has also done a phenomenal job and should still get his fair share of snaps.
