The New York Giants are searching for a new head coach after choosing to part ways with Joe Judge. This team has been a hot mess, especially in the final stretch of the regular season. After the initial news broke, Judge was seen having a ton of beer and pizza delivered to his house.
It was believed that Judge had ordered an insane amount of beer and pizza for himself to cope with losing his job, per Sportskeeda and TMZ. This would be a great way to get over anything. Just drown your sorrows in beer and delicious pizza and worry about the consequences later.

However, according to the New York Daily News, the Giants former head coach “hosted an Irish Wake for fired Giants coaches and their families at his New Jersey house on Wednesday to say thank you and celebrate the good times in the end.”
Although the idea of Joe Judge stuffing his face with beer and pizza to cope with getting canned is hilarious and sad, it turns out that is not the case. Instead, “he graciously welcomed the coaches and their families to take care of the people who dedicated their last two years to both him and the Giants, moving to New Jersey from all over the country to try and make it work,” per the New York Daily News.
It's a rather cool way for a head coach to deal with getting fired. Typically the coach goes off the grid before taking another coaching job elsewhere. We'll see what is in store for Judge's career, as plenty of teams will be interested in hiring him. Look for the Giants to hire a new head coach and general manager, as the franchise will be eager to get back to work.
