The New York Giants (1-5) and quarterback Daniel Jones are going to be heavily depleted at the skill positions for their Week 7 matchup against the Carolina Panthers (3-3).

Here's the Giants' injury report for Sunday, per Dan Salomone of Giants.com:

Wide receivers Kenny Golladay (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) have been ruled out. Tight end Evan Engram (calf) and wideouts John Ross (hamstring), Sterling Shepard (hamstring), and Darius Slayton (hamstring) are questionable. Plus, running back Saquon Barkley remains out with a high ankle sprain. Brutal.

Engram's backup, Kaden Smith was also limited with a knee injury. Wide receiver C.J. Board is on injured reserve.

Engram joined Barkley, Golladay, and Toney on the sidelines for practice on Thursday. Giants head coach Joe Judge would not rule the three players out after practice yesterday, but Friday's injury report lists them as out.

Ross was back on the practice field – a good sign for his chances of playing on Sunday. Shephard was a new addition to the injury report and was limited in practice.

Expect to see a lot of Devontae Booker coming out of the Giants' backfield, as Jones looks for Collin Johnson and Dante Pettis downfield.

“A real credit to the backup players having more of an extended role,” offensive coordinator Jason Garrett said, via the New York Post. “They’re prepared and they’re trying to embrace the opportunity. The guys who are banged up are working hard to get themselves back as quick as they can, but when you have a different combination of players playing, you’ve just got to figure it out and try to make it work.”

The injured names above have combined to account for 77% of New York's offensive yards this season, per the Post.
