New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has become one of the most popular players in the world that he's seemingly everywhere these days, including major NBA events.
Beckham Jr. was in attendance at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game at Staples Center in Los Angeles where he was able to interact with several players. One of these said individuals was Oklahoma City Thunder star forward Kevin Durant who he put on blast about not getting a response from the reigning NBA Finals MVP prior to the game this past Sunday.

The two have clearly have built a strong friendship over the past couple of years through their mutual respect for what they bring to the table in their respective professions. The two have a personal bond away from the game that is a more common thing to see among NBA and NFL players over the years. Both are widely regarded as being among the best players in their respective sports.
Article Continues BelowBeckham Jr. has developed a kinship with many NBA players that was also evident through his brief interactions with both Houston Rockets guard James Harden and Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook on the court after the conclusion of the All-Star Game where he was clowning them a bit. Prior to that, there is some video of him roasting Minnesota Timberwolves star big man Karl-Anthony Towns for his footwear.
Much of that respect from NBA players have come from his quick rise to stardom in his brief NFL career that has seen him earn the recognition as being one of the top wide receivers in the league. The 25-year-old put up the most productive three-year stretch to start an NFL career by posting more than 90 catches and 1,300 receiving yards and at least 10 touchdowns in each campaign.
Beckham Jr. is still on the mend from a fractured left ankle that he suffered last October that prematurely ended his 2017 season after four games played. He has been steadily progressing through his recovery and should be ready in time for training camp this offseason.
