It's finally April, which means the 2022 NFL Draft is right around the corner. Teams across the league are finalizing their scouting reports and all eyes are on Kayvon Thibodeaux. The former Oregon Ducks pass rusher is expected to be taken early in the first round and he delivers a quote that is one of the ages.

According to Antwan V. Staley, Thibodeaux answered a question asked about the “most ridiculous thing he's heard during the pre-draft process.” Usually, we hear prospects tell a funny story about an off-the-wall question asked by a general manager. Instead, Kayvon Thibodeaux gets real with the NFL teams scouting him this offseason.

Kayvon Thibodeaux exudes confidence in this quote and it is extremely admirable. He's been a beast throughout his time in Oregon and should be selected very early in the upcoming NFL Draft. Many have him viewed as a top-three pick, but we won't know where he lands until April 29th.

There are multiple talented pass rushers in this year's class. Aiden Hutchison is being viewed as one of the best players in the NFL Draft as well. Many expect the Jacksonville Jaguars to take either Thibodeaux or Hutchison, as both are bound to provide a major boost to their porous defense.

Wherever Kayvon Thibodeaux lands he should perform at an extremely high level. He's proven to be a problem rushing the passer but has a unique skill set that allows him to stuff the run and protect the pass when necessary. Look for Thibodeaux to be selected within the top 10 of the NFL Draft this offseason.
