There are athletes around the world that are helping communities combat the coronavirus outbreak and, surprisingly, Antonio Brown is doing his part. In a post to his official Twitter account, Brown shared that he's going to be helping donated resources during the coronavirus pandemic.

The past year has been quite the rollercoaster ride for Antonio Brown, with him still  remaining a free agency as a result. Over a year ago, Brown was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders after having a fallout with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Then, after being with the Raiders for a few months, Brown continued to cause issues off of the field. Following the circus he created in the Raiders' locker room, Las Vegas decided to release him before he even played in a game with them.

Upon his release, he teamed up with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. In his lone game with the Patriots, he caught four passes for 56 yards and one touchdown versus the Miami Dolphins. Despite his immediate impact in New England, Brown's stay in Foxborough was short-lived after his former trainer accused him of sexual assault.

Since last September, Brown has been a free agent in the NFL. Even though he missed most of the 2019 season, Brown intends to return in 2020.

At the least, Brown — a native of Miami — is doing his part to help his local community. Is this a ploy for Brown to look good in the media? Or is it a sign that Brown is beginning to be the person he was when he entered the NFL? Hopefully, for his sake, it's the latter.
