Dez Bryant is without question the most high-profile NFL free agent left on the market. Even after a couple of down seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, Bryant still showed last season that he is capable of making a major impact on any game that he's on the field in.

Surprisingly, after the Cowboys decided to release Bryant this offseason, no team has picked him up. Bryant has been sitting in free agency for months waiting for the right offer. Now, it appears that Bryant is stirring the pot on when he might sign with a new team and get into action.

According to Bryant himself on Twitter, he will sign with a new team “soon.” He made that statement in response to a fan who was asking about the situation.

There are quite a few in the media industry that do not believe Bryant is close to signing with a team. Quite a few more don't think that Bryant has serious interest from any team. As talented as he has been throughout his career, there have been a lot of situations that Bryant caused drama for the Cowboys.

Last season with the Cowboys, Bryant ended up catching 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns. He has been called “washed up” often this offseason, but those numbers don't look like a wide receiver who is washed up completely.

If Bryant does sign with a team, there is no question that he could make an impact. He is hungry to prove himself after he feels the Cowboys went behind his back to release him.

At 29 years old, the clock is ticking for Bryant to sign a new contract. He may have something in the works, but there is a decent chance that he could sit out the entire 2018 season as well.
