Former Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase is reportedly already getting a lot of attention when it comes to potential head coaching jobs elsewhere around the NFL.
Gase was let go by the Dolphins on Monday after a 7-9 season, with the team being unable to get any momentum going over the past few years.
Miami did manage to go 10-6 and make the playoffs in Gase's first season back in 2016, but it was unable to capitalize on that trip to the postseason.
Now, Gase finds himself in need of a new job, but it sounds like he won't be struggling to find potential suitors.
From ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter:
Within three hours of being fired in Miami, Adam Gase already had heard from the majority of teams with an HC opening, per source. Gase is expected to start his HC interviews this week.
With multiple jobs available after a busy day of firings around the league, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see Gase be in the mix for other positions.
Despite being just 40 years old, he has coached in the NFL in some capacity since 2003, where he started as a scouting assistant for the Detroit Lions.
He has always been considered a great offensive coach, and with several open jobs featuring teams that have franchise quarterbacks in place, Gase may be someone that gets a serious look.
There are certainly going to be a lot of important decisions made around NFL front offices this offseason, and at this point, Gase figures to someone that is on everyone's radar.
