On Tuesday, the NFL released its 2016 ‘Color Rush' uniforms for all 32 teams. The jerseys will be donned throughout the season on Thursday Night Football.

The ‘Color Rush' campaign started last year with a little less than half the teams participating. Now, all 32 franchises have alternate uniforms, at least available for purchase.

I say that because a total of nine teams won't be wearing these jerseys this season, for a few reasons.

The Lions, Redskins, and Colts all play their only Thursday games on Thanksgiving, which is not a part of the ‘Color Rush' program. Additionally, the Jets, Cardinals, Texans, Falcons, Rams, and Browns will wear white instead to avoid clashing colors with their opponents. Last season, this was particularly a problem for colorblind viewers.

Some teams didn't exactly go outside of the box, either. The Jaguars and Titans will wear the same uniforms as last season, and the Chiefs and Bears are merely adding alternate pants. But sometimes, less is more.
