Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Cooper Kupp is enjoying a season for the ages. Kupp, who is closing in on 2,000 receiving yards with two games left to play, could become the first man in NFL history to achieve the feat. Rams teammate and fellow wideout Odell Beckham Jr. is leading the 2,000-yard campaign for Kupp.

Rams star Odell Beckham Jr. is clearly excited that teammate Cooper Kupp could make NFL history. And that is really cool to see.

There's no ill will or jealousy from Beckham, who was once in the upper tier of wideouts where his Rams teammate currently is, towards Kupp. Beckham, like every other NFL fan, just wants to witness history

Even if Kupp, who currently has 1,734 receiving yards, doesn't eclipse 2,000 yards, he could still break former Detroit Lions wideout Calvin Johnson's record of 1,964 yards. It should be noted that Kupp will have had one extra game to do so, though it would still be quite the accomplishment. Plus, it's very attainable.

Kupp would need to total 115 yards in each of the last two Rams games to tie Johnson's record. With the Rams star currently producing 115.6 yards per game, he should have no trouble at least reaching and/or breaking Johnson's record.

Judging by his comments, one can bet that Rams star Odell Beckham Jr. will be just as excited as NFL fans if Cooper Kupp makes history in the last two games of the season.
