It is no secret that Washington Redskins defensive lineman Jonathan Allen is a strong man.

However, Allen — even for him — may have just taken things to an entirely different level en route to easily squatting 585 pounds. Allen posted the following video of him doing what can probably be considered to be a light workout on Tuesday afternoon as the Redskins defender only needed a few spotters as he threw up nearly 600 pounds, via The Checkdown.

Even though Allen has become part of quite the impressive front line for the Redskins defense, Washington did not fair all that well a season ago.

Despite finishing with one of the worst records in the entire NFL in 2019, the Redskins did manage to secure the No. 2 overall pick as a result of the team's forgettable campaign.

In doing so, the Redskins notably selected former Ohio State Buckeyes pass rusher Chase Young at No. 2 overall as the former collegiate standout and soon-to-be rookie will be paired with Allen along the team's defensive front in 2020.
