The Kansas City Chiefs are still undefeated after eking out a hard-earned 27-23 victory against the Denver Broncos on Monday. Up against the vaunted Broncos’ defense, Patrick Mahomes managed to pass the test put in front of him by Von Miller and company, finishing the game with 304 passing yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions on 28-of-35 completions.
Mahomes also made sure that the game won’t conclude without him making Twitter go bonkers.
With the Chiefs trailing Denver by three points and on a third-and-five situation with only a little over three minutes left on the clock, Patrick Mahomes flicked a desperation pass using his off hand to wide receiver Tyreek Hill to give the Chiefs another set of downs.

The drive ended with the Chiefs scoring on a touchdown run by running back Kareem Hunt followed up by an extra-point kick made by Harrison Butkus to put Kansas City ahead, 27-23, which would also be the game’s final score.
With Mahomes running the Chiefs’ attack on the field, the team has become arguably the most fearsome offensive unit in the league today. They entered Week 4 No. 1 in the NFL with 39.3 points per game with a ninth-ranked passing game.
Mahomes and the Chiefs have another tough test ahead of them next week, as they are set to face the Jacksonville Jaguars at home this coming Sunday.
