Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has seen better days. Since signing his enormous contract extension a few years ago, of guys who have played multiple seasons, Elite Joe has the worst touchdown-to-interception ratio in all of the National Football League.

Joe Flacco, however, isn't going to let that data undermine his desire for the offense to be far more aggressive. That's right, Flacco wants to go deep!

“There’s a couple of shots for us to have out there and maybe make the game [go] our way,” Flacco said, via ESPN. “If you give yourself two shots, and you rely on hitting only those two, there’s going to be games when you don’t hit them. By the end of the season, you don’t want to have to just turn it on when you have to; you want to be doing it all the time.”

Basically, Flacco is saying that the minimal attempts down the field puts extra pressure on making sure those actually work in Baltimore's favor. He's not entirely wrong, though, I am sure a lot of people would argue that there's good reason for the Ravens limiting his pass attempts.

On the season, Flacco is completing a good 65 percent of his passes, but only has 9 touchdowns to 11 interceptions.

Truth be told, if we are being less polite, we are a few years removed from his solid 2014 season. There's little reason for Baltimore to do anything other than rely on its stout defense, while begging Flacco to not turn the ball over.
