The Seattle Seahawks managed to get back into the win column in Week 12 with a 24-13 win over the lowly San Francisco 49ers. The injury-riddled Seahawks have managed to scrap their way through the year as they remain one game behind the surprising Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West.
Fortunately, there may potentially be some help on the way. During an appearance on 710 ESPN Seattle, head coach Pete Carroll is confident former starting running back Chris Carson could return for the final stretch of the 2017 NFL season:

Carson largely served as the head of the Seahawks running back committee to start the year. The former seventh-round pick ran for 208 yards on 29 carries and caught seven passes for 59 yards prior to his ankle injury in Week 4 versus the Indianapolis Colts.
Seattle has since relied on a bevy of running backs in his absence, however, none have been able to surpass Carson's rushing total on the year. His impending return could bring some much-needed stability to a ground attack that has been ineffective outside of superstar quarterback Russell Wilson.
