Get ready, Seattle Seahawks fans: Marshawn Lynch looks like he's coming back for one more shot at the Super Bowl.
What seemed like wishful thinking during the recent strike of the injury bug is slowly turning to reality as the retired running back is making his return to the NFL this season. This confirms the suspicion of hopeful fans that they will see “Beast Mode” Lynch back on the field once again.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported that the 33-year-old finished taking his physicals with the team.
The #Seahawks’ physical for FA RB Marshawn Lynch went well and as expected, source said. No issues there, as a signing and reunion moves closer to reality.

Considering the season-ending injuries to Chris Carson (hip) and Rashaad Penny (ACL), Lynch's addition is a much-needed one.
Of course, Lynch been out of game shape for more than a year. It's probable he won't be able to provide numbers similar to his peak years with the Seahawks. It's not a stretch to say that his performance will be akin to his final year in Seattle before jumping ship to the Oakland Raiders. That season, he only had 417 rushing yards and three touchdowns to his name.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that it's only a matter of time until Lynch signs a contract with the team.
“He's been working really hard,” Carroll said, per ESPN. “He's really excited about the chance to do something helping out, and I think it's freakin' great if he could get out there and tote the ball for us. The circumstances rolled just at this time, and he could have four or five games left in him. Maybe that's what we need.”
Lynch may be the piece the Seahawks need to make a deep run to the Super Bowl title this year. At the minimum, he'll give them health at the position.
