The Seahawks have been overall very successful this season when it comes to COVID-19 prevention. In fact, only one player on the Seattle Seahawks has tested positive for the virus since the beginning of the season. According to The News Tribune, tight end Gerald Everett missed two games due to a positive COVID test in late September.
Nearly two years after the first confirmed case in the United States, COVID-19 is ripping through the NBA, NHL, and NFL. As of Wednesday morning, seven NFL teams are in enhanced COVID protocols.
NFL now has seven teams in enhanced COVID protocols: Browns, Bears, Falcons, Lions, Rams, Vikings and the WFT.

Seattle linebacker Bobby Wagner voiced his opinion on the recent spike in cases in the league. The News Tribune Seahawks beat reporter Gregg Bell tweeted Wagner's thoughts on his team and their vigilance regarding COVID-19.

This is solid advice coming from a man who has been with the team for a long time, and has been able to adapt to newer protocols in order to keep everyone around him healthy. Obviously, Seattle's strict protocols have been working. The organization's COVID-19 vigilance is something that other teams in the league should strive to duplicate.
Back in July, the Seahawks veteran told the media that he understands both sides of the vaccine debate. Ultimately, he said that it was a personal decision that each person should be able to make for themselves.
