Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Al Woods has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drugs policy, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Woods has played in 14 games with five starts this season, logging 32 tackles, a sack and a couple of fumble recoveries.

The 32-year-old, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round (123rd pick overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.

However, he never actually played a game for the Saints, as he was cut just before the 2010 season opener. He then linked up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played in nine games and tallied 17 tackles and a half of a sack during his rookie campaign.

Since then, Woods has been quite the journeyman, as he spent one year with the Seahawks during his first stint with the club in 2011 before joining the Pittsburgh Steelers for two seasons.

Woods proceeded to sign with the Tennessee Titans in 2014 and resided there for three seasons, marking his longest go-around with any one team to date.

He went on to become a full-time starter for the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, appearing in every contest and finishing with 44 tackles and a sack.

Woods participated in 14 more games with the Colts in 2018, making eight starts. During that time, he totaled 24 tackles before hitting the injured reserve list.

The Seahawks signed Woods for a second rodeo back in May.

Seattle is 11-3 on the year and sits in first place in the NFC West. It will take on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
