It's official: Marshawn Lynch is coming back to the Seattle Seahawks to try and add one more Super Bowl title to his NFL resume before riding off into the sunset. NFL fans are naturally excited to seeing him pad up once more, and even other athletes like retired NBA superstar Dwyane Wade are pumped for the return of Beast Mode.
The Seahawks announced on Monday that the veteran running back went through physicals with the team, with Seattle quickly working to include him in the team before the end of the season.
Wade was impressed enough with the turn of events that he took to Twitter and voiced his delight with the latest Seahawks signing.

Lynch has done more than enough in his 11-year career that makes his return to Seattle something worth celebrating about. He won a Super Bowl title with the Seahawks and wowed audiences with his powerful running. He covered 6,347 yards and racked up 57 touchdowns with Seattle. Combining his stats with the Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders, he's rushed for 10,379 yards and 84 touchdowns.
The biggest question with Lynch's acquisition was the fact that he was off the field for more than one year.
However, the Seahawks' injured roster forced their hands. Moreover, head coach Pete Carroll is looking at things at a positive light.
“He's had plenty of time to be working and get ready in case something came up, and I'm anxious to see him when we get him here,” Carroll told 710 ESPN Seattle on Monday, when Lynch was en route to the Seahawks' facility to take a physical and discuss a potential Seahawks reunion. “There's a lot of history here that's great history.”
If everything goes well, Lynch's first game in over a year will be against the San Francisco 49ers.
