One player's market is finally starting to heat up. Almost two weeks after being released by the Green Bay Packers, Nick Perry will be visiting the Seattle Seahawks, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

La Canfora notes that Perry, who has been frequently injured the past few years, is fully healthy. Wherever he signs, it will be Perry's first career stop outside of Green Bay. The Packers took the USC product in the first round of the 2012 draft. Perry didn't quite live up to expectations during his first four years in the league, and the Packers brought him back on a cheap one-year deal in 2016.

He ended up having a monster season, racking up 11 sacks and earning a huge payday. In response to his breakout year, the Packers gave him a five-year, $60 million deal. He ended up making it just two years into that deal; he was a big disappointment. The Packers struggled on defense, failing to give their offense a better margin for error on a weekly basis. Perry was not a long-term solution for a team which desperately needed one on the defensive side of the ball. He appeared in 12 games in 2017 due to several different injuries, and had seven sacks.

Last year, Nick Perry had his worst season as a pro. His campaign was ended after nine games by a knee injury, and he notched only 1.5 sacks. With his hefty salary, it was an easy decision for the Packers to cut him. Perry is still only 28, though, and could prove to be a good addition for the Seahawks or whoever decides to sign him.

He still has talent, and if he can stay healthy he could be a valuable buy-low signing. Nick Perry will likely have to settle for a prove-it deal with less guaranteed money, so there's not a ton of risk in adding him.
