Former Houston Texans offensive lineman Duane Brown couldn't be a happier guy at the moment. Having gone from a talented, yet relatively struggling team, to the Seattle Seahawks has been something he's not taking for granted.
“It’s worked out pretty good for me, I have to say,” Brown said in a presser. “I thought I did some great things in my career and I thought we had some great years there in Houston, but to come here and immediately be a part of a contender and a chance to win, it’s worked out amazing. I couldn’t ask for anything better.”
For Seattle, bringing in Duane Brown isn't a move with only short-term ramifications. Seahawks general manager John Schneider expressed a desire to have the lineman finish his career in Seattle to PFT. As for Brown, he said he would very much be open to that possibility.

Just like a real, real brotherhood here and they have a lot of fun, win a lot of games and on the outside looking in, I loved it. So to be here and be a part of it now, there’s no doubt in my mind I wouldn’t want to be here the rest of my career.”
Time will, obviously, tell how this new marriage works for everyone involved. If nothing else, Seattle got a huge upgrade on the line.
