Seattle Seahawks star Safety Quandre Diggs suffered a broken fibula and dislocated ankle in the team's Week 18 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, but he has already undergone surgery to repair the injuries.
Per Ian Rapoport, the two-time Pro Bowler will need 4-5 months for full recovery:
#Seahawks Pro Bowl S Quandre Diggs underwent successful surgery yesterday from noted expert Dr. Robert Anderson to repair his broken fibula and dislocated ankle, source said. The surgery went well with no complications and he has a 4-5 month recovery.

Diggs, who is a vocal figure in the Seahawks' locker room, was accompanied by several teammates after the game as they offered him support:
Several #Seahawks teammates requested to stay behind in Arizona with Diggs following the game, a display of the kind of leader he is and how tight Seattle’s locker room is — even after a tough season. https://t.co/73PtxfGvLl

Diggs left Sunday's contest in tears after the scary injury, but he was very positive following the operation as he took to Twitter:
Surgery was a success! Super grateful! Thank you all!

At this rate, he shouldn't miss the start of the 2022 season for the Seahawks, which is a great sign. However, it's unknown if he'll actually still be with Seattle because his current deal is set to expire. But, Diggs has made a case for either signing on with another organization or being retained by the Seahawks.
He enjoyed a very productive campaign in 2021, collecting five interceptions, seven pass breakups, and a total of 94 tackles in 17 games. Diggs led the team in INT's as well. In a rather disappointing season for a Seahawks organization that is so used to success, Diggs proved to be one of their most consistent players. It will be interesting to see if they hand him an extension after such a serious injury.
