With rumors that Russell Wilson could be traded from the Seattle Seahawks swirling this offseason, some people have come up with the idea that he could be traded in exchange for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. While speaking about the topic, NFL Network's Jane Slater (h/t Todd Brock of Cowboys Wire) said one of her sources believes a Wilson-Prescott swap is something that's ridiculous and hilarious at the same time.
“Not only do I not think this is happening. I did go ahead and check that with one of my team sources. They equally found the scenario laughable.”
Earlier this month, Wilson ruffled feathers in Seattle's organization when he said that he believes the team needs to do a better job protecting him. In the past eight seasons, Russell Wilson has been sacked an average of 45 times per year, showing the lack of attention the Seahawks have given their offensive line.

ESPN's Adam Schefter would report that Wilson wants to remain in Seattle. But if he were to inquire about a trade, he'd be open to a trade to the Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders, and the Chicago Bears.
Whenever the Cowboys were mentioned, many people brought up the idea that both teams could swap Wilson and Prescott. Even though Prescott is coming off of a season-ending injury, Dallas is focused on getting a long-term deal done with the former fourth-round pick.
Seeing how committed they are to Dak Prescott, it's highly unlikely that the Cowboys would move on from him in favor of Wilson. For anyone who was hoping to see Wilson land in Dallas, it doesn't like an expected outcome at the current moment.
