Tom Brady returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the franchise is back in the Super Bowl hunt. This team is shaping up to be one of the best in the league and will likely play that way this year. However, the franchise could use a boost from guys who aren't superstars to improve their odds of making another title run. With that in mind, we look at three potential breakout players on the Buccaneers for the 2022 season.

The front office did a great job in the NFL Draft. They acquired multiple talented rookies who aim to make an impact right away. Two of which have a legitimate chance to be major producers for this team. If these two rookies can shake things up, the Buccaneers will have a complete roster Tom Brady can rely on.

Additionally, we may see a surprise wide receiver make some noise in the upcoming season. Considering Chris Godwin is bouncing back from a major injury and could miss some time to start the year, the other receivers will have to step up. Especially with Rob Gronkowski's return up in the air as well. If this wide receiver can prove himself as a consistent target, then the Buccaneers' offense is going to be set up nicely.

With that said, here are three potential breakout players on the Buccaneers for the 2022 season.

Buccaneers Breakout Players For The 2022 NFL Season

3. Logan Hall

Taken 33rd overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, Logan Hall is primed to have a strong rookie campaign. The Buccaneers' rookie defensive end was a monster during his time in college and will have a phenomenal supporting cast around him. Most of the attention will be on Vita Vea and Akiem Hicks, allowing Hall to wreak havoc throughout the season.

This defense looks ready to compete. The Buccaneers are set at every level and should be able to lock down numerous opponents in the upcoming season. Logan Hall lucked out falling to Tampa Bay, as he is with a Super Bowl contender and is a likely starter for this unit. Look for him to make some noise this year.

2. Rachaad White

Another exciting rookie picked up by the Buccaneers is Rachaad White. With Ronald Jones Jr. now playing for the Kansas City Chiefs, a spot on Tampa Bay's roster opened up. Leonard Fournette is likely the starter still, but White is bound to get run in the 2022 season. Especially considering he can contribute in the passing game as an optimal check-down option for Tom Brady.

Although Tampa Bay didn't quite utilize Jones Jr. that much, there is concern White may sit on the sideline for most of his rookie year. However, with a new head coach at the helm, the Buccaneers may utilize a different strategy altogether. Rachaad White has a unique skill set that compliments Brady, which bodes well for his chances.

1. Russell Gage

Russell Gage could be the biggest breakout candidate in the league during the 2022 season. He flashed potential often during his tenure with the Atlanta Falcons and now finds himself in a preferable situation in Tampa Bay. Gage is set to at least be the third wide receiver on the depth chart, but with Chris Godwin returning from injury, the Buccaneers will likely have him play as the second option behind Mike Evans.

With Tom Brady under center, Russell Gage is primed for a huge year. Most of the attention will be on Evans in most games, giving Gage plenty of one-on-one opportunities. Keep an eye on him this season, as his role for the Buccaneers could turn him into a surprise star for this offense.
