Tom Brady is back and Bruce Arians and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have parted ways. Could those developments be signs that wide receiver Antonio Brown could be plotting his next moves in an attempt to hitch up with the Bucs  — or with any team for that matter — anew?

In an appearance on TMZ Sports TV show, Brown shot down the idea that he's willing to run it back with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

Via TMZ:

“I don't think that's a possibility,” Brown said. “How things were handled. How I was handled in regards to the injury. [They] just weren't able to use me for my value. My true value.”

“But I was grateful for the opportunity and the position that I was in and I made the most out of it.”

Based on the optics alone, it would be a surprise if Brown gets another chance in the NFL. There's just so much baggage that comes along with him. Also weighing his chances down are the fact that he's already 33 and that he is nursing a hurting ankle that likely needs to go under the knife if he is to see action in the league in the future.

Brown, who's turning 34 in July, played a total of 15 regular-season games with the Buccaneers and even helped Tampa Bay win a Super Bowl in 2021.
