Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach was not happy about his team's lackluster performance on Sunday night against the New Orleans Saints. Tom Brady and the shorthanded Bucs chose the wrong night to get sloppy as the hosting Saints made the most out of almost every error the defending champs had en route to a huge 36-27 win.
After the disappointing Week 8 defeat, the 69-year old mentor didn't mince his words. According to the Bucs' Scott Smith, Arians mentioned after the game that penalties and turnovers were the biggest problems they faced against New Orleans and that it was ‘an embarrassing display of football' – his words not mine.
Bruce Arians says today’s game was “an embarrassing display of football.” Penalties and turnovers were the biggest issues.

Arians is not wrong.
Article Continues BelowThe defending champions couldn't hold on to the ball on Sunday night, with Brady not having the most perfect of evenings. Despite the five-time Super Bowl MVP passing four TDs against the Saints, the Buccaneers signal-caller ended up turning the ball over thrice – one fumble and two interceptions. Brady's second and last interception came up costly, too, with the Saints' PJ Williams picking Brady's throw with 1:24 left in the game for a 40-yard touchdown to seal the game for his squad.
As for penalties, the Bucs also managed to put up a few. One of the more significant ones involved LB Devin White who was flagged for a horse-collar tackle on Saints' primary playmaker and former Tampa Bay QB Jameis Winston who had to be carted off the field for a concerning injury on his left knee.
Fortunately, the Buccaneers enter their bye week for Week 9 and have a whole week to rest and recuperate before visiting the Washington Football Team on November 14.
