The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally reached the pinnacle of the league after winning Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the team brass will have work to do in the offseason as most of their players are set to hit free agency in the near future.

Bucs head coach Bruce Arians also expressed his utmost confidence in general manager Jason Licht's ability to get the band back together heading to next season.

“I’m very, very confident,” The Buccaneers coach said via Pro Football Talk. “I have all the trust in the world in Jason and what he would do. These guys, they have a bond. There will be dollars involved. But I think that this group is so, so close that sometimes dollars don’t matter. But we’re going to do everything we can to get the dollars right too because they earned it.”

Outside linebacker Shaq Barrett is expected to become an unrestricted free agent after this season due to having a short one-year, $16 million contract with the Buccaneers. Wide receiver Antonio Brown is also set to enter free agency in the offseason after he was inked to a one-year, $1.6 million deal back in late October of 2020.

Despite having short-term contracts, both players expressed their desires to return to the team next season, especially after a successful Super Bowl run. Several other important pieces of the team are also heading to free agency namely wide receiver Chris Godwin, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, running back Leonard Fournette, and linebacker Lavone David.

The exact cap number for the Buccaneers in the 2021 season has yet to be revealed but they are reportedly under the projected cap of $180 million. Bruce Arian's squad definitely needs all its pieces if they want to run it back once again next season.
