A student from Notre Dame prep in Michigan was trying to FaceTime one of his teammates. He got one of the digits wrong and it ended up being the greatest mistake ever. The number he dialed connected him with Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting.

During the initial correspondence, the unknown number texted back “Ya'll meant to add me to this?” He eventually asked if they knew who it was. He replied “I'm Sean Murphy-Bunting.”

Apparently the kids thought it was a prank. So, the Bucs player decided to go one step further and pass the phone around to his teammates in the Buccaneers locker room.

Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette got a hold of the phone and took the Michigan basketball team on a tour of locker room, letting them chat with a bunch of different players, including Rob Gronkowski.

“Leonard Fournette walked us through the locker room and showed us all the players,” Notre Dame player Nate Seaman told WDIV.  “Sean Murphy-Bunting, Mike Evans, Lavonte Davis, Gronk, Richard Sherman. That’s when we all said, where’s the GOAT?”

So, Fournette gave the phone to Tom Brady. The high schoolers were blown away. Brady addressed the impromptu FaceTime chat with ESPN. He remarked how Fournette gave him the phone without telling him who it was. Brady then chatted with the high school team.

The call lasted about 30 minutes, ending with Murphy-Bunting promising not to let their phone numbers get out and for them to “ball out.”
