Richard Sherman is not yet done in the NFL. The veteran cornerback will begin another chapter in his football career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after signing a deal with the reigning Super Bowl champions. This means that he will be on the same team as Tom Brady, whose team once defeated Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

Now, Sherman is looking forward to helping the Bucs defend their crown, though how much is left in his gas tank is something that's a bit uncertain.

Nevertheless, it's clear that Sherman has not lost even a bit of his confidence.

Sherman says on his podcast of his expectations with Bucs: “I have high standards for myself … I expect to go out there and play Pro Bowl, All-Pro ball … I'm going to execute to the best of my abilities and hopefully help this ballclub win some games.”

The Buccaneers added Sherman to address a secondary unit that just placed Sean Murphy-Bunting on the injured reserve. Tampa Bay also saw cornerback Jamel Dean leave Week 3's game against the Los Angeles Rams with a lower-body injury. The need to fortify the Bucs' pass defense was highlighted in the Rams game, with Matthew Stafford putting up 343 passing yards and four touchdowns without an interception.

Sherman, 33, has 36 interceptions in 139 games since entering the NFL in 2011.
