Rob Gronkowski is known for being a fun guy to be around, and it's clear his humor hasn't subsided since leaving the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, Gronkowski revealed how he tricked the Buccaneers during his offseason workouts.
During virtual offseason workouts, Gronk had to run sprints, record them and send them to the Bucs. So, to get out of it, he'd record himself running sprints in different shirts on the same day. Then, he'd send in the videos on different days.

When Rob Gronkowski was traded to the Buccaneers from the Patriots, he had to get back into being in football shape. He was out of football during the 2019 season due to his retirement, where he lost a decent amount of weight.

Apparently, the veteran tight end would run sprints on the same day in different shirts, only to save videos of him sprinting for other days to skip out on certain workouts.
It's safe to say that his days of skipping workouts didn't have much of an effect on his play during the season. The All-Pro tight end finished the season with 45 receptions, 623 yards and seven touchdowns.
Even though his numbers were down compared to his days with the Patriots, Gronkowski played well considering that he was competing for targets alongside Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, Scotty Miller and Cameron Brate. In his first three playoff games with the Bucs, he has caught only two passes for 43 yards.
Gronkowski has already let it be known that he'd love to be back in Tampa Bay next season. With that being said, the Buccaneers may be more intent on whether or not Gronkowski is doing his workouts on certain days if he returns.
