Tampa Bay Buccaneers star tight end Rob Gronkowski appears to be on the verge of returning to action for Monday's Week 11 game against the New York Giants. Gronkowski was a full participant in Thursday's practice, which is a good sign for his availability on Monday, per NFL Network's Ian Rapaport.

Gronkowski has been dealing with some nagging back issues. He has barely played this season after getting out to a strong start. Gronk scored two touchdowns in each of the first two games but then got hurt in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams, suffering fractured ribs and a collapse lung.

The Buccaneers tight end tried to return on Halloween against the New Orleans Saints, but he barely played before being ruled out because of back spasms. He then missed the disappointing 29-19 loss to the Washington Football Team this past weekend.

Tampa Bay has lost two games in a row, but the defending champs have a big opportunity to end that streak on Monday Night Football.
