Tom Brady is back and ready to go as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' QB1 for next season. One of the next big questions with his return from retirement is will his longtime teammate and legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski be coming back to join him as well.

Gronk was seen at a barber shop in Tampa Bay talking it up with a few fans, as Gronk does, and was asked about his possible retirement or potential return to the Bucs. He nonchalantly revealed that he plans to spook Tom Brady for a bit but gives it a “very good chance” that he's not done catching passes from him yet.

“It's a very good chance. I'll let him have a little scare. Couple months without me. He just did it to me for a couple of months, so I'm going to do it to him,” said the Bucs tight end.

Perhaps Gronk didn't think things completely through, though given that he divulged his plan for the world to hear. The Bucs star definitely would have had to know that the fan taking a video would post it on social media. Tom Brady's not going to be sweating much once he sees this clip.

But in all seriousness, Buccaneers fans are the real winners. They went from having a huge question mark at quarterback coming into the season, to getting Tom Brady back again after threatening for the MVP trophy last season. He earned his 15th Pro Bowl selection and his first since 2018. He also led the NFL in both passing touchdowns and passing yardage in order to get there.

Now it appears all but certain that Rob Gronkowski is set to return at tight end as well, depending on how far he takes this Brady scare attempt. The first Brady to Gronk touchdown will be a sight to behold.
