Shortly after being released from the Detroit Lions, Fells looks to be joining stars Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski in Tampa. The veteran could be a valuable signing for a myriad of reasons, whether it be his postseason experience or him being a reliable backup to Gronk. With Gronkowski having missed numerous games this season, it doesn't seem like a bad idea bringing in reinforcements. Fells also proved to be adequate in his time with the Houston Texans back in 2019, receiving 341 yards and scoring seven touchdowns. His overall career in the NFL playing for a plethora of teams could be useful for a Buccaneers team looking to win their second straight Super Bowl.
Tampa Bay has once again been off to a strong start this season, with a 6-2 record atop of the NFC South. Quarterback Tom Brady has thrown the ball exceptionally well, and the team's offensive production is amongst the top. With this formidable group maintaining health and chemistry, the Buccaneers could truly have a chance of going back to back.
