The Buccaneers got their seventh win Monday night at home against the New York Giants. The dominating 30-10 win increased their lead in the NFC South.

However, the win didn't come without consequence. Wide receiver Mike Evans experienced back tightness following the game. He did not participate in either the Wednesday or Thursday practices, but looks to be trending in the right direction.

Evans returned to practice on Friday, and according to Greg Auman, Bucs reporter for The Athletic, this is “encouraging for him being able to go in Indy on Sunday.”

Evans has been a key part in the Buccaneers offense since being drafted in 2014 and continues to prove his legitimacy in Tampa Bay. In Monday's win, Evans broke the franchise record of the most touchdowns caught by a Bucs receiver with his 72nd receiving touchdown.

Needless to say, it was concerning when he did not participate in Wednesday's walk-through or the open portion of Thursday's practice. Evans has contributed to a large portion of the Buccaneer's offense this year. In the team's ten games played, Evans recorded 679 receiving yards and ten touchdowns.

Fortunately for the Bucs, it looks like Evans will most likely be making the trip to Indianapolis this weekend. Tom Brady and the Buccaneers are set to meet Carson Wentz and the Colts Sunday afternoon.
