Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson is not backing off of his trade demand, and after his hiring of Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, it's becoming increasingly likely that he will get traded before the start of the season.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a team to watch as a potential landing spot.

The Buccaneers' backfield is led by Peyton Barber and second-year back Ronald Jones, so they can certainly use some help in their rushing attack.

Barber rushed for 871 yards and five touchdowns this past season, but he averaged just 3.7 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Jones carried the ball just 23 times for 44 yards and a score.

Also, neither back is a receiving threat, which is where Johnson would really come into play.

More of a pass-catcher than a rusher, Johnson is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he hauled in 47 receptions for 429 yards and three touchdowns while totaling just 201 yards on the ground.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Miami, was originally selected by the Browns in the third round (77th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Johnson has been a pretty consistent part of Cleveland's offense ever since, but with Nick Chubb as the lead back and the signing of Kareem Hunt, Johnson's role has been skewed.

As a result, Johnson asked for a trade earlier this offseason, but thus far, the Browns have remained steadfast in their desire to keep him. However, due to recent events, that seems to be a somewhat unlikely occurrence.
