Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady let his emotions get the best of him in a frustrating loss to the New Orleans Saints a couple of weeks ago. Flummoxed by the New Orleans defense, Brady threw a late interception to seal the loss and frustratingly smashed a Microsoft Surface tablet, breaking the device completely. In his ‘Let's Go' podcast on SiriusXM radio, Brady said that he received a stern warning from the NFL regarding his tablet smash.

“I did get a warning from the NFL,” Brady said with chuckle on his “Let's Go!” podcast with Jim Gray on SiriusXM on Monday night. “I can't throw another Surface or else I get fined. Imagine that! Imagine that.”

Brady apologized for the incident, which he said was done out of frustration after he threw an interception late in the fourth quarter. It rendered the device useless and required a replacement.

“I won't throw another Surface,” Brady said. “Although I think it was pretty good marketing for the Surface at the end of the day. I think it worked out pretty well for them.”

Buccaneers star Tom Brady can't smash another Microsoft Surface tablet or he'll get fined. The NFL likely didn't appreciate having to get a new tablet for the Tampa Bay sideline. They likely would have preferred a Gatorade cooler smash, or a kicking net smash instead.
