After guiding the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a comeback home win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, Tom Brady became the winningest player in NFL history.

Brady, arguably the best quarterback to have ever played in the NFL, has won 222 games with the New England Patriots and Buccaneers, passing former teammate Adam Vinatieri, who has won 221 contests in his 24 seasons with the Patriots and Indianapolis Colts.

A six-time NFL champion, Brady took to Twitter to react to passing Vinatieri.

“I’m so grateful to all the players and coaches and organizations that have made this possible,” Tom Brady wrote on social media, replying to a tweet by the Buccaneers.

“Nothing in football is achieved as an individual. . . . I’m so thankful to be playing a game I love and so lucky to have made so many friends along the way.”
